Book 5 teaches words with -all, -alk, -old, -olt, -oll, -ild, -ind; qu words; words with three-letter blends (thr, shr, scr, str, spr, spl); -ey words; and the three sounds of -ed (/ed/, /d/, /t/). There are also two review lessons and a four-page posttest.
