Participant Cancellation

A registration may be cancelled up to fifteen (15) days prior to the first date of a professional development service. A professional development service registration cannot be cancelled within fourteen (14) or fewer days of the service, but it may be eligible for a transfer to a future session under the Participant Transfer policy.

Participant Transfer

Prior to the first date of a scheduled professional development service, a registration may be transferred to a future session or to a different participant. Only one transfer is permitted per registration, and a transferred registration cannot be cancelled. A transfer must be for a named participant into a selected session occurring within six months of the date of transfer. Credits for future use, not assigned to a specific person and session, are not permitted. Once a professional development service begins, transfers are not permitted.

Professional Development Registration

Enrollment in professional development offerings closes 15 days before the scheduled start date or when all seats are filled, whichever comes first. No seat is held until a purchase order or payment is received. Pricing for professional development services is per-person. A separate payment must be made for each individual.

In the event of low registration, instructor unavailability, or other factors that may occur, Brainspring reserves the right to cancel a professional development service at its discretion.

Return and Exchange Policies for Products

Excluding materials provided with a professional development service registration, products may be returned, in resaleable condition, within 30 days of purchase. Purchasers may request return authorization through their online Brainspring Store account or by contacting orders@brainspring.com. The purchaser is responsible for delivering the returned item to Brainspring, including all applicable shipping costs. Only the cost of the product is refundable. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

Materials included with a professional development service registration may be returned, in resalable condition, 15 or more days prior to the start of the professional development service. Within 14 or fewer days of the start of the professional development service the included materials cannot be returned, but they may be eligible for exchange or replacement if there is a defect in the delivered items.
