Ideal for classroom use, the blending board accommodates up to four Phonics First Classroom Phonics Cards (sold separately) for easy use in blending practice.
The Blending Board has a heavy plastic base with deep card-wells. It comes with two plastic inserts: one in front to support displayed cards and one in back to support cards that are removed from view.

New blending board
I have wanted one of these new blending boards ever since I saw the new teachers getting this kind. My blending board is the old kind with the clear plexi glass. The corners on it were very sharp. That is why I've been wanting one of these. I couldn't wait to switch mine out on my small group table. I'm still using the other one at the front of my classroom on a book shelf. This is a huge improvement to the old design and well worth the money.

The board will be nice, but I expected it to be wood. What I received did not seem to be worth $56.00

Blending Board
This board is shorter, so it's easy to use sitting down in a small group. It is wider, so it is easier to manage your card pack through the drills. I like the way cards sit down easily, easier than fighting to fit them into the pocket chart.
