As I mentioned last week, I won’t be adding an activity this week, but Dite has a great one on the H Brothers that she posted on her blog.
I hadn’t heard of the H Brothers before, but I think it’s a great way to help students with the easily confused digraphs ch, sh, wh and th. I can’t wait to share this with my students!
Also, be sure to read Dite’s explanation of the difference between a digraph and a blend. This is important for your students to know and understand, especially when they get into syllabication. When syllabicating, digraphs cannot be split apart.
