Multisensory Monday: Red Word Flowers Activity

Multisensory Monday: Red Word Flowers Activity

Posted by Brainspring on 28th Mar 2022

The more students use and practice Red Words, the easier they will remember them. I love having students practice reading their Red Words in the Springtime while doing some different flowery activities!

For this activity, simply print the one below and use it during the Red Word portion of your lesson to review previously taught words. Your students’ Red Word skills will surely blossom!

Materials:

  1. Red Word Flowers Activity Worksheet
  2. Scissors
  3. Markers, crayons, or colored pencils

Steps:

  1. Print the activity using white paper, if you would like them to color their flowers, or print on colored paper if you would rather have it ‘ready-to-go’.
  2.  Cut out the petals.
  3. Have students match the letter petals to the Red Word on the center of the following.

Hopefully this activity will allow you and your students to have lots of flowery fun!
